Stewardship Plan Task Force members gave preliminary approval for Public Works to draft a new plan in late March, which was planned for their review at the May 28th meeting. That and later advisory Task Force meetings, always scheduled for the fourth Wednesday of each month, were then cancelled. During that time, a draft was not available in time for discussion on the annual Public Tour of the Corvallis Watershed property, and is still not available for public review. Release is now further delayed to the fifth Wednesday, October 29th. The following meeting scheduled for November 26th, rescheduled for December 3rd, has now been cancelled. No further meetings are on the City Calendar.
Public Works has not planned any requested peer review, or even a public presentation of the Corvallis Forest Stewardship Plan update, which was done for all previous Forest Plans and revisions.
